PROFILE
Shennika Hermanstyne graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a Theatre Design Degree 2019. Proficient skills in AutoCAD, Prop making, Set & Costume Design and Painting she is Professionally based in Luton & London.
After graduating high school, she completed a year of Media Production in College then proceeded to do a UAL Art & Design course for an additional two years earning a Distinction both years, all the while learning relevant skills that paved the way for her further education pathway.
Shennika has worked on a National Theatre Connections production: Class by Ben Smith & Lajuane Lincoln in collaboration with NCN Clarendon College where she was Set & Costume Designer. Directed by Amy Legge & Luke Damon. Additional showings of this production was at Nottingham Playhouse for three nights in April 2019.
Other works include: Speculative Design Projects on A Tale of Two Cities - the musical adaptation (2019) & The Servant of Two Masters (2018); Prop Maker for Whistle Down the Wind (2019); a school production of Robin Hood and the Sherwood Hoodies (2018); Scenic Painter for 12 (2018), a college production of The Wedding Singer (2015). More recently, she's undertook placements with The Grove Theatre, Lewisham Youth Theatre, The National Theatre (Digital Drawing and Design Office) and a Assistant Designer role at Trent College (2017).
